One of my favorite projects that I’ve made - I knitted this out of Cascade 220 in order to teach myself different stitch patterns and techniques when I was first learning.
This blanket is so wonderful! I had a “sampler scarf” when I was first learning too (hey, that’s how I found out stockinette curls. A single curled up section of my scarf). I’ve wanted to make a sampler afghan out of a single cream (that traditional natural wool/Aran color) for a long time, but it’s so fun to see a sampler in a fun rainbow theme!
My future sampler blanket won’t be started until I have a real place of my own, though.
So maybe I found my new knitting project.
Oh gosh. And that edging is perfection.
Mothertrucking knitting inspiration.
